Rush Lounge Chair

This chair is a simplified hybrid of the rural rush seat chairs of England and France in the 18th and 19th centuries, and the Danish and French “Modernity” of the 1930s and 1940s.

Circa: 1750 England/France, 1900 English Arts and Crafts, 1930-50 Danish Modern.

Dimensions: 30" W x 35" D x 40" H
Wood: Alder
Finish: "Light Fruitwood", medium distress with hand planing & rush stained to match.
Upholstery: Loose down wrap seat and down fill back cushions, flat welt
Fabric: Sintra "Otter/Sand" by Peter Fasano (100% Linen)
