A Modern Banquette in the McMansion Transformation

by Sara Fattori September 24, 2016

In transforming an old 'cookie cutter' breakfast nook, we redesigned the space to include this modern fresh look. The banquette table top is a natural quartz and the pattern in the pillows is reminiscent of the Vienna Secession period of the early 1900s.

Covered with luxury performance fabrics to add a practical yet functional design while removing the heavy ornamentations that once lived in this space. The pillows are covered in a Kravet fabric and seat cushions, in a Perennial high performance luxury fabric, are the perfect setting for providing comfort and a reflection to the surrounding space.

This cohesive look highlights the modern architectural elements that you'll see throughout this home. A haven of ethereal beauty and sophistication.
